Every retailer lists cabinet specs a little differently, and the terminology is not always explained on the product page. Once you know what each field actually means, comparing two cabinets from two different sites gets a lot easier.

Finish names are the biggest source of confusion, since there is no shared naming standard across manufacturers. The only reliable way to compare finishes is to look at photos side by side rather than trust the name alone.

Dimensions are still the most important line

Retailers pack configuration and dimensions into the SKU using their own shorthand — a code like B24-2D might mean a 24" base cabinet with two doors. There's no universal standard, so treat SKU codes as a rough clue to check against the spec table, not a reliable answer alone.
